Heyo All,

Finally got around to playing rebirth, loving it so far!
Buuuut during some cutscenes & most open world segments I get lots of stuttering. (Just got Chocobo bill's)
I have a gut feeling that it might be because my PC is second-hand & not the most powerful. I mostly play older games and fighting games so I've never had performance issues before, but it was okay (if not a little loud with the fans) with FF7: Remake.

These are the specs:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz

Installed RAM: 32.0 GB

Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB)

I've also tried some of the nexus mods for performance but they don't seem to do much.
I'm using:
- Fantasy Optimizer
- FF7Rebirth Ultimate Unreal Engine
- FFVIIHookRebirth
- FFVII XeSS Mod

I really want to play this game to completion, 100% and all, but these stutters are breaking the immersion just a tad too much.
What should I do? Is there a software workaround or am I just gonna have to wait and upgrade my rig?

I've been an Eikaiwa teacher for a year and a half now, and my current contract ends at the end of July, so I'm looking for my next job.

I've heard mixed things about being an Alt and was wondering if it's better or worse than Eikaiwa work?

My current job pays 26万円 a month, the hours are 12:30-9:30pm Tuesday - Fri and 9:30am-6:30pm on Saturdays.

While the pay is decent, the hours are quite antisocial so I've had trouble making close friends and the work can be stressful when you're alone with 6+ tired kids at 8pm who all want to be anywhere else but an Eikaiwa.

I do enjoy teaching English and getting to know the students, so I think I'd enjoy being an Alt.

What are your thoughts?

If it's a good change how do I go about finding good Alt jobs? What companies should I avoid?
