Why do you research?

What pad brands aren't actively trying to poison us
I literally broke out into a rash from pads I had been using for the last 3 years. Please recommend any 100% cotton, non synthetic pads. I've heard natracare pads are good. But omg this has been traumatic.

Summer reading book suggestions
Looking for a summer reading suggestion! Last summer, I read "Kitchen" by Banana Yoshimoto, and the summer before that, "The Wall" by Marlen Haushofer. I am looking for something quietly introspective but heartwarming. Something that would make me look forward to reading it.
I started reading "Human Acts" by Han Kang, but I'm not sure if that's the beach read vibe I'm going for! (Although it is a lovely novel). Recently started listening to "One Golden Summer" by Carely Fortune and it's very cute, but looking for something a bit more complicated(??? Is this a good description?)
