I removed all the paneling in my basement to find they used liquid nail or some other adhesive to hold the paneling down. I’d like to have this drywall finished. I can remove most of the adhesive but it tears the paper and some spots are thin enough it would probably need to be sanded off. Can this drywall be salvaged or am I better off just replacing it?
