Need Wide Angle Help

Just recently, I traded in some stuff to KEH and today. I just got the quote offer back and they dropped the quote to half the price that they originally offered me. One of the lenses they’re just offering me straight up nothing for when they promised me closer to $500, but I’ll save that gripe for another day.

My main goal was to get a lens for Real Estate photography so that I can start some freelancing work. I’m currently talking to some friends that have work I can take. I was gonna use the close to $1600 in trade-in value to get a sigma 14-24 for my Lumix S5II and maybe something else. Now I’m looking at more like $800 and I still need something that’s going to be versatile enough to do wide angle Real Estate photography.

I was looking at the sigma mainly because it goes all the way out to 14 and there’s not a whole lot of other lenses that do that, while also offering zoom. Talking to other real estate photographers with 12-24 lenses on Sony, they say having 12-16 is a cheat code. I also have a Nikon Z mount and have considered getting the 14-30 f/4. I was hesitant at first because of the maximum aperture, but at this point, I just gotta get something to start this real estate work.

I’m not gonna say I’m against manual Focus primes, but these days I just wanna go ahead and get auto focus lenses that mate with my mirrorless bodies. I also just traded all my manual focus glass to KEH so I wasn’t really trying to get more.

Any advice would be very helpful.
