Dokomi 2026 Ticket Scammers
I had an interaction via the reddit chat today with (allegedly) a ticket scammer who goes by the username Fatalphenom1. As Saturday tickets are supposedly the most popular tickets out there, every scalper and scammer is trying to abuse it as much as they can by trying to scam people out of their money by either inflating the prices by 300% or by offering a reasonable price that is just above the original price, but using some fishy IBAN/Account Details.
They wanted to do a "direct" transfer of the ticket using an email address.
The first red flag the popped up was that they could not put the ticket up for resale on the official Dokomi Resale website.
The second red flag was when I first requested their account details for transferring the money to purchase their Saturday ticket they gave me a name(English name) and a card number instead of an IBAN.
When asked for an IBAN, they gave me a different name(Nigerian name) and an IBAN that belonged to Clear Junction Limited which is often used by scammers.
And finally, when confronted about the different names, they responded with: "That was my friend's account", to which I replied that I had reported this interaction for a possible scam to which they proceeded to block me as I no longer could see their reddit profile. This I checked by going to their profile using a direct link in a private browser which showed me the account still existed.
So be warned and keep your eyes peeled and use a little common sense. People who supposedly "can't" use the official resale website or ticket swap are looking to abuse you.
