Are there any pretty towns about 1–2 hours away from Düsseldorf that are worth visiting?

I’d love somewhere with beautiful scenery, ideally near the river or beautiful mountains.

Any recommendations for places to visit on weekends?

Ich (w) bin auf der Suche nach einem Friseur, wo man auch Augenbrauen zupfen lassen kann mit Fadentechnik. Hat hier jemand Empfehlungen? Kann in und um Düsseldorf (Duisburg, Meerbusch, Mühlheim) sein.

Hey, ich werde berufsbedingt die nächsten Jahre vom Saarland nach NRW ziehen müssen und bin auf der Suche nach schönen Städten. Düsseldorf wirkt auf mich sehr sauber und nett, weshalb mich interessieren würde, wie ihr das Leben in dieser Stadt empfindet.

Bin am Samstag mit meiner Familie in Düsseldorf und würde gerne mit allen zusammen HotPot essen gehen.

Kennt jemand ein gutes und kostengünstiges HotPot-Buffet, am besten All-you-can-eat? Gerne auch mit Empfehlungen aus eigener Erfahrung!

Hey in die Runde, wir wollen heiraten und suchen deswegen ein Restaurant in dem wir abends gemeinsam essen gehen können. Wir sind roundabout 25 Personen und ich würde mir wünschen, dass es in dem Lokal zum einen sehr heimelig ist und zum andere, dass es dort vielleicht ein Separee gibt oder das es vielleicht sogar so klein ist, dass man es komplett mit 25 Leuten besetzen kann.

Wir sind relativ ungebunden, was den Standort angeht. Hauptsache das Essen ist lecker und die Stimmung gut! :)

Hallo. Apologies for not using German.

I am visiting Düsseldorf and the surrounding area for a weekend in about a month. I previously visited in 2022 when the 9 Euro Ticket was a thing but I believe the Deutschlandticket wasn't made for short stay tourists like me.

So when using public transport, would it be better if I just got individual tickets for my journeys or is there anything that might make it more streamlined?
