I’m a filmmaker & audio post person, and used my M1 studio for film work. I got my M5, but I keep seeing all these AI related comments, and wondering, what the heck is going on? Is this something that could have the slightest relevance to my work? Or is it all programming our new robot overlords? Thanks.

I purchased someone's used no-name carbon fiber boom pole, and I've been very happy with it, except the tip was junk. It finally failed on me, and I want to get a better replacement.
However finding a replacement tip is harder than I thought. The old one has a diameter of 1.25 inches, and a cut through for the internal cable. Anyone have any suggestions on finding a replacement? I checked Trew & Gotham & can't find replacement heads. Other searches turn up too much garbage. Thanks in advance.
On Skyline Blvd. this afternoon I saw a maroon car parked by the side of the road where two men were looking at their trunk with amazon packages in it. A bit later I saw the car at one of the code gates, trying and failing to enter. I was able to get their license plate, but don't want to mention it in case it was something innocent. If you or a neighbor is missing a package today, let me know.

I have an old 2010 Mac Pro, which has the sonnet upgrade and a 1Tb SSD and graphics card installed. It has been sitting around since I moved my workstation to a Mac Studio.
I would like to set up a cloud server for my friends and I to store our footage, but don’t know whether it’s worth it to use the Mac Pro, or sell it and buy something which is newer with less power draw. It certainly takes up a ton of real estate in my house.
