Need help evaluating the starter cards

Title says it. Whilst the cards for the recurring characters did not change from STS1, the battles did and though I played all characters quite a bit I'm still unsure one some of the cards. Watched couple of vids going through the cards, but oddly enough only a very select few covered the starter cards and not for every character, so I'd like some help on how I should think about these cards.

Ironclad:

  • Bash: Same as in STS1, gets better with extra energy but towards the bottom of cards to upgrade I'd say. Never cut it though in case you get Oroboras.

Silent:

  • Neutralize: Very top of upgrade prio to get that extra turn of weak. Awesome card.
  • Survivor: 8/11 block for 1 energy with Sly synergy makes this card very strong I think. Depending on what other cards you get it's not an immediate must upgrade like Neutralize, but defintely up there on the prio list.

Regent:

  • Falling Star: Good card and worth it to keep in case of Oroboras. The upgrade gives 4 extra damage, which is good Act 1 and still worth to keep later, but I'd say upgrade prio depends on what other cards you get.
  • Venerate: I have difficulties judging this card and whether or not I should go for an early upgrade. 2 Stars for 1 energy seems really bad and the upgrade only seems to elevate it to okay. I think if I roll another Stars spender and got no other generating card, the upgrade might be worth it/needed.

Necrobinder:

  • Bodyguard: At base it's basically a Defend with potential carryover and in general more synergy. In a vacuum this woukd be my first card to upgrad simply because there are just so many synergies.
  • Unleash: Good damage card since Osty damage is not affected by strength or weak plus but an upgrade for jsut 3 extra damage puts it rather low on my upgrad prio list

Defect:

  • Zap: Expensive for just generating 1 Lightning and needs the Upgrade to be worth playing at all I'd say.
  • Dualcast: Early "big" damage card but similar as with Zap it needs the upgrade to be really worth it
