Legal land prescription advice from any experts

Hello lovely people, my dad has been occupying part of his grandfather’s land for nearly 60 years. My dad constructed his house on it, where we are currently living.

The land was informally divided into two portions many years ago: my grandfather’s brother took the first portion and my grandfather took the second portion(3 perches). We have been living peacefully on the land without any conflict until now.

My dad would like to regularise/prescribe the land in his name so that it can officially belong to him and later be transferred to me.

I read online that for acquisitive prescription in Mauritius, you may need old proof of occupation such as ancient CEB and CWA bills, and possibly testimony from an elderly neighbour before the notary to confirm long-term occupation.

Could anyone explain the exact steps we need to follow?

What documents are usually required?

Do we need a land surveyor first?

How does the notary process work?

Approximately how long does it take and what are the costs involved?

Any advice from people who went through a similar situation in Mauritius would really help.

Thanks a lot 🙏

Veterinary science dream broken

Hello guys since young I always dreamt about becoming a veterinarian but unfortunately after completion of my hsc ,i realized financial support was my biggest issue. I checked several universities abroad but the cost of living alone matters so my dreams were shattered. Also at a level I didn't get that good results although I gave my best(B,B,C).Now I am currently in an IT course at uom which makes me realize everyday that I am lost and this is not what I always wanted 💔 😔. Anyone can relate?
