WGA claim it's dropping soon! As far as I know it includes 20 grunts, 10 stormtrooper equivalents, 6 Ogres, 1 Field gun, and at least 1 unit of support guns. Then enough for at least 3 heroes, likely 4.
Knowing that it has the sort of special weapons and equipment typical to 40k Imperial Guard, what kind of list would you spindle out of this for yourself?
I'm trying to make a combined-arms style list but it feels a bit tight even at 2k points. I keep seeing take lots of tanks, but also lots of infantry, but make sure the infantry are in transports. Stormtroopers with orbital seem fun and like a must as well. A psycher seemed handy but I sort of wanted 2 commanders with aim buffs for the tanks, but I hit the 10 Unit limit pretty quickly. Brought a field cannon for fun but I'm not sure how reliable it really is.
I guess I'm just trying to see if this is a good all-comers, general mechanized list. I'm still not sure if I should be dropping a Precision Shooter Buff for a Psyker just to have access to more tools, or if the tanks have sensible loadouts.
