Do y’all think men of this country are afraid of women? After seeing so many hate comments against women i genuinely want to know?
I've noticed, a lot of people seem to be genuinely afraid of feminism. They jump at every opportunity to mock it, misrepresent it, or blame it for unrelated issues. To me, that kind of backlash often happens when a movement starts making an impact and challenges the status quo. If people feel threatened by it, maybe feminism is actually moving in the right direction.
The recent Siya and ketan incident is a perfect example. A lot of people don't seem to care about what actually happened or about Ketan. They're just using the situation as another excuse to bash feminism.
What's even more disturbing is seeing people dig up and circulate Siya's old party photos to "prove" she's a bad person. Since when does partying make someone characterless? How does that justify the amount of abuse and judgment she's receiving? It's honestly shocking how quickly people start policing a woman's character instead of focusing on the actual issue.
What also frustrates me is how numb we've become to the number of rape cases reported. So many incidents barely get any attention, and only the most horrific ones make national headlines. That doesn't mean the others matter any less.
I just hope we keep moving toward a society where women are treated with basic dignity and respect. More power to the women who continue to speak up despite all the hate. Hopefully, one day, people will stop treating feminism like the enemy and start understanding that it's about equality and respect for everyone.
