My fiancé had my engagement ring custom made. I’m not sure on the correct ring terminology, but the oval and stone go straight down - it is not floating. I would like to do a more simple wedding band. Ideally just a normal plain gold band, but I don’t think that’s possible since the stone isn’t floating. Maybe have a plain gold band that curves around the stone? I feel like the engagement ring is already so beautiful, I really don’t want to take away from it. Any suggestions?
