Odisha's revenue will decrease by 50000 crores from the following year

According to the MMDR Amendment Bill, 2026, the Union government will steal the rights to make rules, manage, and collect taxes from the state government regarding mines and minerals. This bill also passed in the parliament within 4 minutes without any discussions and heavy opposition from the opposition parties.

And due to this bill, Odisha govt's annual revenue might decrease by 45000 to 50000 crores. India is a union of states, but BJP is making sure to reduce the power of the states.

Buying Votes has been so much normalised.

Remember how they gave 10000 in Bihar similarly. At this point they don't even need to work , just redistribute all the public tax money among free loaders.

Absence of Bihari lobby in private sector

I have noticed one thing that in the private sector ( IT / Consulting) there are lobbies of differnt states and regions

You can always see the top senior management of any company and see how most postions are filled by same ethnic background people

It's not just in india but outside as well. There is south lobby (Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam separate), Gujarat lobby, Punjabi lobby, Marathi lobby etc etc

And they all help each other in growing or going outside country for H1B visas and all

Only Biharis don't have any lobby. And I have seen many hard working biharis suffer because of it. They either are not promoted after some level or they are not given some big opportunity. I have experienced it too

Also it's not just that. Many times Biharis have to hide their accent, speak proper to fit in some lobby. While others proudly flaunt their ethnic background

I wish one day private sector comes to Bihar as well so that we don't have to go outside and try to fit in

last Time was Back in 1975 when at Centre was PM Indira Gandhi and state CM was Siddhartha Shankar Ray

This was probably one of the important factors for the downfall of Bengal

(considering 1976 & 77 were emergency years)

she was probably the last Heavy weight leader of India who still followed the 70-80s Congress style of Politics

What ever you say , she will surely Godown as the greatest Female Politician of India after Indira Gandhi sitting at the same table with Jayalalithaa
