Extreme troubles getting service
My wife and I moved to a brand new townhomes as tenants. Our physically touching neighbor has Xfinity. When I initially applied to the rental. Xfinitys site showed completely serviceable and allowed me to even set a date for install/activation. As we hadn't accepted the lease yet, I did not set a date and went on with my day.
We moved in May 5th. Since then it has been call after call then the wife walked into a physical store. They opened a ticket to verify that we actually exist. No response for few days. Call in again, the ticket can't be found even with number. Opens a new ticket. Agent is confused because the new ticket number is the same number provided to them last time.
Fast forward three days (to today) wife calls in to check status. "Not eligible for service" The ticket has been closed. No one verified anything. As this is happening the townhouses across the street are having line buried and a box installed at the corner for multiple connections.
Meanwhile our front yard has a literal junction box in it on our property. Wife tells this to the agent on phone, essentially tells her she's wrong and over talks her.
Tells her to get a utility bill and go to a store essentially starting over the process again.
My wife works from home and we moved here expecting a great time with Xfinity. Now we are to the point of starting to consider major issues including breaking the lease as hotspots/mobile Internet is the current backup that's barely cutting it. Starlink is not an option due to townhouse rules.
Looking for help here. We will obviously take a utility bill and try some more but so far everything has gone in a circle.
