Throw Away Account: Tapering off Kratom
As the title says this is my throw away account so there's probably no karma or anything attached to me.
Been searching this sub: I have no clue what FF or 7 (I forget the name) is. What I did see is a lot of Kratom talk so I hope posting here is okay.
After reading about the taper off plan (on this and other subs), I've come up with "my" plan. It'll take a long time but I'm in no rush and I'd like to do it as pain free as possible. I don't know if this is the "right" way and am looking for input.
Back story: Been on or around 30G K daily for years. For the past year, I've wanted to stop. Well, now I have a colonoscopy coming up in September and the thought of being on it and going under scares the living daylights out of me. By the time this ends I'll be off it 2 weeks before the procedure.
The Plan: My 1st week, I need to spread out my doses evenly so to speak. My daily was 12.5G in the morning (the morning rush) and then 6G throughout the rest of the day (usually around 3 more times per day). When I started my plan I figured that tapering down wouldn't work if I was stacking most of my dose at the beginning of the day. So, my 1st week will be 4 doses of 7.5G to even them out throughout the day so I'm not stacking as much during the beginning of the day. I've used Red Mang Da pretty much throughout this whole thing (and I hear red may be more difficult). I plan on counting out each of my doses daily and not carrying any more than I need.
I'm also on NAD+ (300mg/week) and Tirzepatide (aka: Zepbound for weight loss) each week. I was hoping the tirz would help, but it didn't. It's been known to help with addiction. I also have some gabapentin pills left over from some nerve pain a few months back. I've heard they can help too but, hopefully, don't need to use them.
This HAS to work. I'm praying it works.
My dosing schedule is in the pics (because I love spreadsheets and being able to physically see it).
Just looking for advice, encouragement, and any glaring errors in my plan.
Edited: Accidentally put MG instead of Grams.
