A long long time ago, I made a vow. I would never, ever give up or leave this subreddit unless I can confidently say that the subreddit could continue on without my help, and as you can probably tell, the subreddit hasn’t needed me in a good long time for anything.

I’m saying this because I have been considering leaving, and I don’t want to, but honestly with no motivation to continue roleplaying here I need to ask if my time in this sub is finally over.

I am so proud of the work I’ve done on this subreddit, and I want to stay. I’m unsure where to go from here on out tho.

This isn’t a leaving post, nor am I declaiming any of my characters. I kinda just needed to get this off my chest.

I don’t know what to do about Vector. I want to use him, but I’m losing motivation to do anything with the Chaotix group, much to the frustration of the Chaotix GC.

I don’t wanna declaim him, and I would love to let him have solo adventures, but the problem is that it’s Vector. I should probably be using him with the Chaotix or else I’m wasting a slot that could’ve been used for someone meant to have solo adventures.

So honestly any advice that isn’t just “declaim him” would be helpful.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to return to my regular pattern of saying I’ll RP here then doing jack shit.

These characters will essentially act as quest givers/the final boss for each post in the Void Remnants Sub Arc.

They are essentially Void Recreations of their OG counterparts that were twisted and distorted to match the emotion of the current Spiral (an iteration of a time loop in Duviri).

They each give 3 quests to Infinite!Silver one at a time over a communicator, gathering more of the associated emotion until they turn into a GhoulWyrm (see image 4) that Infinite!silver must face to prove his growth with his Phantom Ruby.

The following characters I need claimed are:

The Prideful Paladin - Envy Spiral (loop 1)
A recreation of Sonic the Hedgehog, twisted by the Envy Spiral. In Duviri, he is a cocky paladin who thinks himself better than the Phantom Lord.

The Betrayed Ally - Sorrow Spiral (loop 2)
A recreation of Blaze the Cat, twisted by the Sorrow Spiral. In Duviri, she is a former heir to the throne of Duviri who had fallen into a depression after a coup led to her failing her kingdom.

The Mad Mercenary - Rage Spiral (loop 3)
Recreation of Whisper the Wolf, twisted by the Rage Spiral. In Duviri, she is a mercenary who hates the Phantom Lord for killing her team and crippling her, leaving her unable to pursue revenge.

The Void Remnants Sub Arc is an offshoot of the Old Faces Sub Arc, based on the Duviri Paradox Quest from Warframe.

The goal of the arc is to (ironically) remove the Warframe based abilities I gave Infinite!Silver and return to him his Phantom Ruby, but not without him needing to escape Duviri, a world where he is trapped in a time paradox.

All the while he will be hunted by the Phantom Lord, a puppet of the Indifference based upon Infinite!Silvers memory of Infinite the Jackals time as the Phantom Emperor.

Along the way, he will be guided by “The Jackal,” a standin for Tenshin, who guided and taught the Drifter in the Duviri Paradox. Likewise, The Jackal will be teaching Infinite!Silver how to wield the Phantom Ruby while the setting is actively nerfing its power.

Man, it’s been… forever since I’ve been back here…

So little has changed, yet so much.

I just hope someone claims Omega and plays him this time, as he’s a long standing legacy character.

I want to preface this with what I’m doing here:

This is a test run for allowing non-mainline characters to be native to the subreddit universe, and as such this isn’t Cosmo from Sonic X.

It also means that until we can iron out the finer details with making a process to incorporate non-mainline sonic characters as native members of the subreddit universe, we cannot allow people to do the same.

As for where this version of Cosmo starts, this is the beginning of her story, meaning she doesn’t have a history with anyone else in the server

Cream the Rabbit is playing outside her house when something crashes down somewhere near the property. She goes to investigate it and finds an odd half-plant girl unconscious in the impact site.

As for why I declaimed Mainline Amy: I feel like I’ve failed as Mainline Amy due to the fact that I don’t use her as much as I should, + all of my declaimed characters are anti-Eggman anyways & I need more pro empire characters.

I don’t want to declaim Amy, like I really don’t, but it gets to a point.

Edit 2: I’m claiming mainline Amy again, and instead I’m going to redouble my efforts into playing her

Mainline Eggman is a mod character now, meaning he is controlled and played by all the mods.
