Insta360 or Meta Glasses to capture baby’s moments

As our LO is growing, we are finding it harder to take our phones out and quickly capture some nice moments with her. Either we are carrying her (so it’s tough to use just one arm for a nice photo or video) or we are carrying something else for her making it hard to just use the phone.

I feel I need to use some of these hands free POV kind of cameras. Came across Insta360 Go Ultra / 3s and Meta Rayban glasses on some YouTube videos .. would be very grateful if someone has tried this with their LO and are willing to share their experience. Don’t really have a strict budget .. just want to capture some nice moments before it’s too late !

15-week-old showing signs of the 4-month sleep regression (maybe?) and need advice on sleep training

First-time dad here. My daughter is 15 weeks and 4 days old, turning 4 months in about 2 weeks. The last two weeks have been rough and I'm not even sure if this is the 4-month regression or just a phase, but either way, things have gotten harder. Looking for advice on sleep training and a few other things.

Current situation:

  • Day naps: Inconsistent. Sometimes 45 min, sometimes 2 hours. Total daytime sleep is around 2.5 to 3 hours.
  • Bedtime routine: Bath between 7:30 and 8:30 PM (sometimes closer to 9), followed by a 150 to 180ml feed, burping, then down for the night around 9 to 9:30 PM. We make sure the room is dark, hatch machine with white noise, good air circulation.
  • Dream feed: Around 11 PM, 90ml. She doesn't wake for this.
  • Night wakes: Up around 2 AM hungry, then again around 5 to 5:30 AM hungry plus needing a diaper change. We give her about 120ml at the 5 AM wake.
  • Weight/intake: She's gaining well and her caloric intake seems fine overall.

My questions:

  1. Wake windows: After about 60 to 90 minutes of awake time, she's already showing sleepy cues (yawning, spacing out). I've read that we need to push wake windows longer to consolidate night sleep, but how do I actually do that without overtiring her? Any tips for gradually extending?
  2. When to start sleep training? Is 4 months the right time, or should we wait? We might have to travel with the baby soon in 4 weeks), and my wife feels training her and then traveling would be too much for her (I agree with her). Should we just wait till 5 months or would it be ok to sleep train her and then travel later (would that make things worse)?
  3. Which method? We're looking at a modified Ferber approach, but we really don't want to leave the room. I've heard the Chair Method might work better for parents like us. Anyone have experience with Chair Method vs. Ferber? What worked and what didn't? Is it dumb that we feel like we don't want to leave the room?
  4. Hates the early morning diaper change. The 5 to 5:30 AM diaper change is a full meltdown every time. Any tips for making this less painful for everyone?
  5. Screams during post-bath dressing. She's totally fine wrapped in a warm towel coming out of the bath. The second we lay her on the changing table to put on clothes, she loses it. We've tried pacifiers, calming music, warming the room, being super gentle. Nothing helps. She doesn't seem cold. What could be bothering her and how do we fix this?
  6. Snoo to crib transition: She's in a Snoo right now. When should we start thinking about moving to a crib? Any tips for making that transition smoother?
  7. Constant rolling (back to tummy started since 14 weeks 3 days). She started rolling by herself (back to tummy) almost 10 days back and wants to roll ALL the time now. Great for development but I can't even step away for 10 seconds without coming back to find her on her tummy, sometimes spitting up because of the pressure to her tummy. Is this normal? How do you balance giving them freedom to practice vs. keeping them safe when you can't watch every single second?
  8. Daily walks and timing. We try to take her for a walk before her bath to stretch that last wake window closer to 2 hours before bed. Some days she loves it, some days she hates it. Is this a good strategy or are we overthinking it?
  9. The big goal: sleeping through the night. Between the dream feed, the 2 AM wake, and the 5 AM wake, we're up 3 to 4 times a night. It's just my wife and me, and I'm working from home (thankfully). But the sleep deprivation is real. I'm spacing out in meetings and can't remember basic words. How do we consolidate feeds so she can eventually drop night feeds? When does this realistically happen? If it's too soon, we're totally happy to keep going. We just want to make sure we're doing right by her while also not completely running ourselves into the ground.

Would love to hear from parents who've been through this, especially around the 4-month mark. What worked for you? What do you wish you'd done differently?

Thanks in advance 🙏
