how early are people planning to queue up for the utah show if you have vip? i’ve never had vip or ga before/been to an outdoor amphitheater show and i wanna be prepared bc i’ll be traveling as well and im not going to the show with anyone. would love any tips or advice!

alright so i need some help here. i saw 5sos a week ago at my hometown show in hollywood fl and had the best time, and ive been having the worst pcd ever since then. i didnt have vip and they did the star walk behind me and ive been nothing but jealous of all the vids ive been seeing online and regretting not planning better or getting vip/better seats. theres not many US tour dates left, and unfortunately they’re all kind of on the other side of the country (MO is tmr so that’s out but there’s colorado, utah, california, and las vegas).
i saw vip available for the utah show and have been heavily debating going. i know its going to be expensive for airfare, a hotel, vip, etc. im just starting a new job substituting which has a flexible schedule and doesnt require taking days off, but i also haven’t been working for a while. i do have a good chunk of money saved up and also a ton of diamond art kits i can get rid of to easily make back enough to cover costs. now im gonna be honest, the pcd lined up with my period and i’ve basically been in my room watching 5sos vids for the last week (admittedly not the healthiest reaction) and wishing i could travel and see them live again.
my mom forced me to tell her what was going on today and basically said i’m crazy and irrational and this is insane and i shouldn’t travel halfway across the country alone to see a boyband just to end up depressed in my room again when it’s over💀 she thinks there’s too many things that can go wrong and im not experienced enough with traveling to do something like that, and the costs will add up and are not worth it just to see the same show i already saw (to clarify im 23 and i have travelled but mainly along the east coast and into canada).
am i insane for even thinking of this? i see people traveling to a shit ton of shows and i’m so jealous, and lowkey wish i got mine sooner to get vip/went to other shows closer by that happened before mine but unfortunately i didn’t look into the tour much before i made my decision to go not long ago bc i didn’t think i would go and didn’t want the fomo (my friend didn’t know if she could and i didn’t wanna go alone) but i ended up going myself and having a blast. i really need some advice here bc ive never done anything like this before and admittedly haven’t been to utah/have never had vip/pit before, but i really want to see them live again and get the vip experience. i would obviously do more research on costs but im wondering if the idea is crazy to even consider.

IM GONNA BE SICKKK cause wdym these were the options TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW?! and i’m NOT THERE?! like ur telling me the show directly after mine got start over, then chest got it’s live debut, and now wishful dreaming probably will too?? back to BACK directly after my concert…. this is cruel and unusual punishment 😭
just curious where you guys think the boys might walk during this EAS show since the venue doesn’t have the extended stage or the extra star pit. do you think they will just walk around the edge of the general admission pit? i got a seat in the second row of section 104 and im curious if there’s a chance they will walk by me if they go around the GA perimeter
