Screeching sound on acceleration (round 2)

I posted before about this but now I got the issue on video:

The sound is a brief screeching noise about 5s in the video. I am quite worried this is something to do with the clutch or driveshaft, and may be expensive to fix. Happens on strong acceleration, not each time but I can replicate it. Any idea what is this noise from, anybody ever heard it before?

Bike: 2019 R1250GSA

Mileage: 13k (bought used)

Thank you.

Screeching sound on strong acceleration?

Bike: 2019 R1250GSA

Mileage: ~13,000

This is my first GS, so don't know if the following is normal. I bought the bike used last year.

I was at a light yesterday and when it turned green, I revved it up and let the clutch go a bit too hard. I was in a hurry and wanted to change lanes quickly after going. Anyway, it was all controlled, nothing problematic, no wheelie or traction control cut offs. As soon as I applied all that torque, I heard a screeching sound from the bike. It was like pulling a metallic door that touches the floor. Lasted like half a second, and felt like gears were slipping over each other.

Now I am scared to accelerate too quickly in case I am damaging something. My gut is telling me it came either from the driveshaft or the gearbox, but if the gearbox makes that noise the bike would feel a lot worse. The bike is working fine now, so don't know what it was.

Has anybody heard something like this? Obviously I cannot (and do not want to) replicate it. 🙂
