Mixed signals from a girl I see daily — did I mess this up?
I drop my mother at the bus stop every day, and over time I started noticing this college girl who also comes there regularly. At first, I just thought she looked good nothing more.
But since we kept seeing each other almost every day, we started making eye contact pretty often. It wasn’t just random — it felt consistent.
One day, something different happened. She intentionally missed her college bus and came and stood a little distance away from me. That was a clear signal no doubt .
I got the idea to start my bike and stop near her to talk, but I think she misunderstood my move. She suddenly got into a service auto and left. I could clearly see disappointment on her face, and that moment stayed with me.
After about a week, I finally gathered the courage to approach her and just said “Hi.” But she immediately turned away, and I didn’t want to make it awkward, so I left.
After that, things got confusing. Sometimes she would look at me again, giving what felt like signals, and I thought maybe there was still a chance. But then after a few days, she completely started ignoring me.
This whole thing has been bothering me a lot. I ended up developing feelings for her somewhere along the way, and now it just feels weird and heavy.
I also keep overthinking — maybe she already has a boyfriend, since she’s often on her phone, smiling or talking to someone.
Did I misread everything? Or did I mess up somewhere?
