Fed up with life and exams

Why did they give only one show for Baththa? And that too at midnight. Why can’t they add another show or change it to the afternoon or evening?

I’ve been trying to find producers for a few scripts I have, but instead of waiting around, I’ve decided to just make one myself. So I’m writing a story that can be shot on a shoestring budget.

It’s a Telugu independent feature film. Horror, mythology, sci fi, cosmic horror with some found footage elements.

I’ll be writing, directing, DPing, editing, doing sound design, foley and colour grading. It’s a lot, but I’d rather make the movie and get it out there. Truth be told, my strongest areas are directing, cinematography, editing and colour grading. I’m taking on the rest as well because this is a shoestring production, unless someone wants to help out a bit. :)

There is no pay. The small budget I have is mainly going toward props and production expenses. If the film eventually makes money through a theatrical release, I’d like to share the profits with everyone involved, but obviously I can’t guarantee that.

I’m looking for people who are passionate about filmmaking and currently have the time to get involved. Actors, ADs, assistant camera, sound/music, art, production, etc.

Planning to shoot late October through November, around Tenali, Guntur and Vijayawada, followed by about a month of post.

Around 15 years back, I had an amazing baby capsicum bajji in Vijayawada (one town). I’ve never been able to find the same version anywhere else in India.
What I remember:
Small/baby capsicums were slit into halves

They were coated and deep-fried until the capsicum itself became really crispy

It was more like a proper crispy bajji rather than the usual whole capsicum/mirchi bajji

I vaguely remember having it from a small local shop/stall

I’ve tried searching for it over the years but haven't found anything quite like it.
Does anyone from Vijayawada/Andhra Pradesh remember a place that used to make bajji this way? Even if the shop no longer exists, I’d love to know what it was called or where it might have been. 🙏
