Help with mother 1 + 2 emulation on dsi
So ive been wanting to get into the mother series recently and ive been playing all my gb, gba, and ds games on my dsi xl with twilight menu. I dont speak japanese so i am using the fan translations, but the ones that i have to patch myself are kinda confusing or arent fully translated. so i got a r4 cart and used the gba backup tool to get the roms from the physical copies of the mother fan translations. it was working well until i tried to make a save in mother 1, when it just crashes, same for mother 2. i was using gbarunner 2 so i tried using 3 to see if it would make a difference and it didnt. i dont know what to do now, is there any way i can play fully translated mother games on dsi?
