MAHE JEE COUNSELING RANKS

okay so everybody got their ranks and all thru jee. i got 22xx. so, lemme get this straight:

  1. there are only about 200-300 seats for cse in main campus
  2. so obviously, ppl with 99%ile who applied would be eligible for cs
  3. and another obvious reason being, many 99%ilers won't actually take up that seat, cuz obviously, you have nits and iiits there offering cse at around half the price.
  4. and since this is a single round counselling, what happens if the top rankers reject their cse seats? like, will that seat go the next eligible candidate, or will go directly to the met counselling pool? because they said it's a "single round counselling"
  5. becuase if that goes to the met pool, that rank inflation thing that we were scared of, is actually not tat serous. like yes, the ranks would fluctuate a bit, but not by a big margin

please let me know if im corect or just day dreaming 🚶🚶

i got 125 in phase 1, and 93 in boards. i had little hope of getting MnC before this jee seat introduction, but now, that too seems far-fetched. my chem was absolutely fked up in phase 1, like a 11th grader would know better chem than me. but now, ive covered some of the physical chemistry parts, and have started inorganic. idts ill be able to do much of organic. Since met's chem is below jee mains, can neet lectures help? (i find them easy and short too). if no, please suggest some resources. i really need to get around 5-6 correct mcqs out of the 10 in chem, and hopefully 2-3 physical qns correct in the number type answers out of the 5 qns.

My maths is the best (carried me in phase 1), and physics is okayish (skipped few chaps of 11th). i am working hard, but tbh, my jee got ruined due to chem too. an im afraid, this would be the case again in met. PLEASE SUGGEST ANYTHING THAT YOU THINK I COULD DO IN THESE LAST 20 DAYS. I REALLY HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS OTHER THAN THIS. 🙏🙏

I've seen ppl saying kcet and met are almost of same level with some minor differences only. Is this true? cuz I saw the kcet paper online and it was almost the boards level (ig not easier), on the other hand, the phase 1 paper I gave of met (13s2), that was well, more difficult than this fs (got 125). So, was this a one time thing or met is usually similar to kcet? And if not, what are the syllabus differences or lole the paper difficulty difference in general?
