Just started playing Great Circle today and straight away, right in the feels there's Tony Todd.

Seeing talk pop up (as usual) that the M50 is overwhelmed and not fit for purpose. Invariably people start yapping about an OUTER motorway ring road. Can we literally laugh at these people.

If there is anything going to be built there can it not be a Circle line Luas/Sub/Metro which does not go into town but forms the wheel where those town spokes anchor to?

Airport Metro Terminus, Blanch, Liffey Valley, Clondalkin, Cheeverstown (Red), Firhouse, Edmondstown, Sandyford (Green)

Oh but but money/CPO/Planning... blah blah. Same issues would happen with a motorway but people don't seem half as angry about those.

Never going to happen but damn that would be one hell of a loop to build from

ETA: Some people took this that I am advocating for a ring road motorway. No I am not. I am advocating for a rail system loop from which to build spokes into the city
