I will be graduating an ADN program in May 2027, and (like everyone else) I want to get hired for a new grad position. I plan on getting my BSN immediately after graduation (starting the classes this summer) but I’ve heard instructors say that the hospitals open their new grad applications for a few days and close them and usually that is in like November? I was curious as to if that was true, and how I would know when they open so I don’t miss the boat. I specifically want L&D but know that is a long shot for sure, but I would be willing to work literally anywhere from Santa Rosa to San Jose just to get my foot in the door somewhere.
