Just quick background, my nationality is Kiwi/Aussie, as in dual citizen. Ethnicity is Southern African.

In New Zealand, the Māori name for the land is "Aotearoa."

Do the Aboriginals here in Australia also have a name for the land? I tried searching but couldn't find a definite answer.

How would Australia be defined in an Aboringee context?

Or would the direct translation literally just be "Land"?

Quite curious to learn tbh.
