Don't even ask me what the context for this is, all I know is that Shinya Hashimoto and Jushin Liger get a bit quirky at night
This is something that involves Beat Takeshi, that's all i know

You know how people always go "If Drew Brees never left the Chargers, they probably win a super bowl." Particularly talking about the 2006 season?
See, this is going to be maybe a hot take, and this is based sort of on what I know about Schottenheimer's offense but, if Drew Brees does indeed stay with the chargers and they never move on from him does Drew Brees still become the Drew Brees we know?
Sean Payton and Drew Brees worked well together, and Sean Payton centered his offense around Drew Brees and his ability, which allowed him to have some of the greatest seasons ever. As we all know, Schottenheimer's offense was more run-first and conservative.
Does Drew Brees become the Drew Brees we know of if he plays in that offense? I don't really think so because that wasn't what he would've been asked to do. Do they still go 14-2? I mean I don't see why not but It's a hypothetical. does LT still have one of the greatest seasons ever if Drew Brees remains? Maybe?
I know a lot of this is hypothetical, and this is a massive hot take and I'll probably be butchered but I just want the discussion about it because whenever I see people discuss it I go "Does Drew Brees become the Drew Brees we know him as?"
I mean, maybe when Norv Turner becomes head coach, but I do know Turner was a mixed-bag head coach though he was more pass-heavy as opposed to Schottenheimer so maybe we do see at least a version of Saints Brees break out then
Idk and again I could be wrong and maybe some die-hard chargers fan yells at me or something, but how I always thought of it:
Brees is better than Rivers and they probably have a higher ceiling with Brees, but I think at most they make it to multiple AFC Championship games and maybe a super-bowl but lose and we look at Brees as a great QB who never won it all.
I tried to translate what Tsuji is saying as a way for me to help myself learn more Japanese. How I did this was literally looking at various dictionaries online, using translators (you should not do that by the way I only did it was a way to get a basic premise,) and overtime slowly forming what I think Tsuji is saying.
This is not perfect and I likely got a few things wrong but over a course of multiple days I think I sort of get at least the idea of what he was trying to say so here it is..if the ending line is true i got goosebumps.
If anyone here knows Japanese, please let me know how I did lol. It's not supposed to be a 1-1 but it's a translation on what he's most likely saying
This match I'd say is one of the most important and pivotal matches in not just NJPW history but likely also puroresu history because New Japan could've had this match end in a DQ or count-out finish but instead they gave Choshu the clean win, and this win arguably solidified him as an equal to Fujinami, and thus turned one of the first true native vs native feuds into something even more hotter than it already was.
It goes without question that this feud and Ishin Gundan vs NJPW feud is influential in many ways because it's one of the first true male native vs native and as well, internal faction vs internal faction feuds (I think AJW was doing something similar as well) and you can tell how groundbreaking it is.
