I need advice about my baby and church!
I need some advice!
My husband and I have a 13 month old baby boy. He is beautiful and we love him so much. I am having trouble keeping him (for lack of a better word) still. He is just now learning how to walk and never wants to stay still for long even at home. We attend a small Pentecostal Church of God. My in-laws pastor the church and our son is really attached to his Grandpa. My husband plays the drums and we both sing. We have a nursery room, but I feel I need to be on stage singing and we want him to get used to always being in the nursery. He want stay with anyone else put me, and my in-laws. I have tried toys but they only work for a little while. He want stay in my arms for long but when I put him down he is off towards the edge of the stage. I don't want to cause a distraction to everyone else, but I don't know what else to do.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
Edit: Our church just has a nursery room with no one stationed there to watch kids. Our boy is the only one small enough the other youngest is 7. No one has said anything about him being a distraction. We just got married 2 years ago. The church has helped him pray for God to send him a wife so he can start his family. It is just me that is bothered by it, but I worry about him falling off the stage.
