Hey all,

My industry is an absolute bloodbath right now with people getting fired everywhere, I grew out of liking videogames but my experience has been programming in C# in Unity

for 5 years.

I have been trying to research Industrial Automation as a career change but I am chasing my own tail right now and could really use some advice. I have a CS degree and like problem solving and would ideally like to switch to something thats project based and more stable, I am okay with getting more education/certifications.

Would anyone mind pointing me the right direction or any advice or experiences would be great.

First of all I know these types of questions get asked a million times and I usually do my due dilligence in rsearch but this is a genuine question to the Austinites!

I am a european moving to Austin, and used to very walkable environments, I know Austin isn't walkable so I am choosing to live in an area with nearby trails to continue my walking habits as its very important to me.

I was looking for affordable areas to have this and stumbled upon this area, it has trail acess which is great but its geography seems so tucked away from civilasation next to Mopac. I want to get opinions from people that have been on the ground as I am a little worried I will be kind of isolated and not meet anyone or see any civilasation.
