I’m 18 years old, and from November 2024 to December 2025, I wore braces to fix my crooked teeth and overbite.

As you can see, I currently have quite a bit of asymmetry. For example, my nose points to the left, and my lips aren't properly aligned. Throughout my journey, I’ve always been a nose breather, but while I had braces, I found it impossible to mew correctly because I couldn't feel the position of my tongue properly.

I also feel like my face isn't growing forward—my jaw still looks quite short. What can I do to improve? I feel like i am so ugly

I’ve been mewing for three years now. I’m 18 years old, and from November 2024 to December 2025, I wore braces to fix my crooked teeth and overbite (mewing didn't help my teeth at all; in fact, I think it made them worse).

As you can see, I currently have quite a bit of asymmetry. For example, my nose points to the left, and my lips aren't properly aligned. Throughout my journey, I’ve always been a nose breather, but while I had braces, I found it impossible to mew correctly because I couldn't feel the position of my tongue properly.

Even now, I’m constantly wondering if the back third of my tongue is actually engaged. The last 2 photo/video I've attached show what I think lifting the back third of my tongue is, however I can't keep that position with suction hold. In the today's picture I keep the suction hold, but it's very different from "lifting" . I also feel like my face isn't growing forward—my jaw still looks quite short. What can I do to improve?

P.S. I have very bad posture, I usually lay down several hours.
