Bizarre 403b contribution error?

I just entered a new position within the same company and received a wildly low gross pay for my first paycheck in the new role.

According to the stub, the company deducted 55% of my paycheck pretax to my 403b. I strongly suspect the issue has to do with the fact that I changed my contribution from 30% to 25% during this pay period (so they potentially added together my previous election and current election to get 55% lmao). I expected my contribution to remain 30%, as I know these things take time to go into effect, but 55% FLOORED ME.

The payroll dept isn't open right now, so I'll see what they say tomorrow, but I just wanted to see if this has every happened to anyone else, or if anyone has any insight into how this might be fixed. Potentially of note: the check hasn't hit my bank account or the 403b, so maybe this is something that can be caught before the transaction goes through?
