I am almost done with my degree to be a school librarian and have a question about rules on clothing. Do men mostly wear dress pants/slacks? I know coaches or PE may have better options. I just hate wearing dress pants. Especially when I would have to be squatting to put books away. I know all school districts are different.
I just wanted to share part of the email I got for my school. Financial Aid at my school is delayed until the next update. I assume other students will have this issues maybe too.
However, this year, because of the changes to the student loan policies, the Feds are issuing new software to patch our processing system. This software is scheduled to be released on August 20, 2026. Once released and successfully installed, our goal is to disburse your Direct Loan the second week of classes. Because of this delay, your payment plan deadline will be pushed back to September 4, 2026. Federal grants and other scholarships not affected by the SOR will begin disbursing the first week of classes.
There is no way to change the playmat right? This is not only ugly but distracting.

Anyone get a financial aide package for Grad Plus Loans for fall? I did have them before. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. School starts in under a month and it is so stressful!
I know there is a lot of issues because of the one big beautiful bill but this is ridiculous.
I live in Oklahoma. I am currently enrolled in a librarian program for teaching. I worry I don’t have a lot of experience in teaching if it will prevent me from getting a job. I never taught before and I never went through a normal student teacher semester. The program only requires 90 hours in a school. Is this enough to get hired?
