MeUndies
MeUndies has decided that it's a great idea to collaborate with JK Rowling. I'm sad because they've been my underwear company for 10+ years and have always had a great Pride collection and positioned themselves as LGBTQ+ friendly. I wrote them about my disappointment and received the following response:
We hear you, and we understand why this collaboration feels inconsistent with the support you expect from MeUndies, especially given our history of supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
We want to state clearly and without hesitation; we support trans people and believe they deserve dignity, respect, and equality.
We chose to collaborate with the Harry Potter collection because many of our customers loved the stories. That decision was entirely ours. We recognize that celebrating the stories does not resolve your concerns about our decision to license the collection.
We value the trust you've placed in MeUndies, and we understand that this decision has cost us your trust and your business. Thank you for being direct with us about why this matters to you.
