2008 Lexus IS350 transmission issues?

I have an 08 is350 with 190k miles that recently had its transmission replaced (within the month) and a suite of other unrelated work done to it in a short amount of time. Currently the car will not budge when placed into gear unless I gas it past 3k rpms. Even then it only does a little lurch forward while in drive and then starts rolling backwards?? In reverse it is the same it rolls backwards but like it would in neutral (feels like no power to the wheels at all while the engine seems to be making power fine).

All of these issues followed the repair of a massive oil leak that happened as I was reversing into another person's driveway and then noticed excessive smoking from under the hood and quite a bit inside the cabin coming from the gear shifter area. In response I immediately drained all the oil and replaced the oil pan gasket and refilled the car with 7qts of oil and now I'm here.

For full transparency, I personally cheaped out on the transmission job and bought one on FB marketplace that unfortunately came without the original torque converter so I bought a brand new torque converter to mate with the used transmission I bought. I fear this could be the issue, but I simply do not know enough about cars to diagnose the issue. Also no CEL has come on after starting it about three times since I've began experiencing this issue

Any ideas as to what this could be?

P.S. This was the only video I had to provide. I know it's not great, but I haven't had time to actually sit and mess with the car unfortunately.
