What to pack when going to South Africa for the first time

Hello - we’re going on about a 10 day trip to South Africa and was wondering if we could get advice on packing list (both for men and women). We are going to Kruger for safari for 3 nights and to Cape Town for the remainder! Please give us all the specifics! Clothes, accessories, first aid, etc. Thank you so much!

Feeling sad, overwhelmed and isolated - PM&R, PGY-3

Hey everyone,

Honestly, I’m not sure what exactly I’m hoping to gain from this most. I think I just needed a space to vent and get ideas of how to process my feelings.

I am a PGY3 PM&R resident and I have an insane amount of imposter syndrome. I constantly question if I even belong in this field, or even in medicine in general. My knowledge base is inferior compared to my co-residents, my motivation to pursue extracurriculars for fellowship is non-existent, and my desire to wake up and go to work everyday is very very little.

I feel like I don’t belong. I don’t have any friends that relate to me. I don’t enjoy studying everyday. I don’t even know what I’m doing.

Does it get better or is it too late to switch careers? Thank you for listening and I really appreciate any advice, encouragement, motivational words. I need it!
