AITA for calling my bf’s ex wife to come get their kids?

I 27F have been with my boyfriend 35M for 6 months(we'll call him Jeff...fake name btw). He’s divorced and has two kids, 7yr old and 13. He has shared custody with his ex wife. Idk much about her but they seem to co-parent well. I have not been introduced to his kids as his gf yet, and that’s fine by me. I’m a math teacher, and his 13yo has been struggling in math. He asked if I could tutor him. So right now his kids know me as the math tutor, we’ve had 5 tutoring classes so far.

My sister (19F) goes to college about 30 minutes away from where I live. Her last exam ended Wednesday at 6:30. We planned for me to pick her (and all of her dorm stuff) up. Then drive to our parents place (3hr away), Thurs-Sun we had a family camping trip. Jeff knew all about the trip. He asked if I could tutor on Wednesday, I said yes but I’d need to leave by 6 to pick up my sister, he understood.

I get to Jeff’s at 4:45, I and the 13yo get to tutoring. Jeff goes to start dinner at 5:30 and realizes he’s out of milk. He said he was going to the store at the end of the street. 20 mins later he isn’t back so I text him, he said he’d be home in a minute, he had to make another stop. Another 10 mins went by and he’s not back. We wrapped up tutoring and the 13yo went to play with 7yo. I tried calling Jeff and he wasn't picking. By 6:15 I was annoyed. I checked his location on Snapchat and saw he’s at a restaurant 3 miles away. I texted him and told him I saw where he was, and he needs to come home because I need to leave now. He responds that his brother had car trouble, and he had to pick him up but they’re coming back right now. At 6:35 my sister texted that she’ll be ready soon. Jeff’s location hadn’t changed.

I told the kids their dad was out helping their uncle and I have to leave, but I can’t leave them alone, so we need to call their mom. The oldest gave me the number and I called her and explained the situation. She came right over and was clearly annoyed with Jeff. We checked his location at 7 and he was still at the restaurant. She said she’d stay with the kids, I left at 7:15.

At 7:38pm Jeff texted saying “sorry this is going to take awhile. Order pizza for you and the kids and I’ll pay you back.” I didn’t see that text until I got to the dorms to pick my sister up, and by then I was so pissed I didn’t bother responding.

At 9:45 Jeff called me and angrily asked me why did I had to call his ex. He said this was going to cause custody issues for him, he was helping his brother out in an emergency and thought my sister and I could be understanding. He never communicated that with me though. I tried to apologize/explain and he just told me I have no idea how much I “fucked up” his life and then hung up on me. I sent him a text the next days to see if he’d calmed down and would explain what happened, but he only replied to tell me what a mess I’d made of his life.

I think I might have messed up because I didn’t tell Jeff I was calling his ex. AITA?

AITA for totally going off on a classmate for taking out my earbud?

I am 25F and in grad school. Roughly a month-ish back, I got paired with this other lady Angela, for an assignment where we basically have to interview one another and each interview has to be an hour long, we were graded on our interviewing ability. Angela comes to my apartment at night (only available time) and we do the assignment

Almost a week later on class day, the professor introduced another partner assignment. Most classmates already had a partner. I eventually asked Angela but she COMPLETELY bit my head off. She immediately started yelling at me, getting right in my face, repeatedly yelling to go away. She yelled that she hated the way I answered her questions when she was interviewing me. She said I answered the questions in a too-confusing way and made the assignment more difficult for her than necessary. I had no idea cuz she didn't say anything at the time.

Anyways she said I "royally pissed her the hell off" that night. Ofc other classmates are staring in shock cuz this right after class ended and much of my classmates were still there. I apologized and backed off like she wanted, obviously humiliated

So fast forward like a few days later. I was outside on campus, sitting at a table by the campus lake, listening to some music, watching the ducks. There were people around. Angela walks up to me and taps me on the shoulder. I look at her. She then makes a motion for me to take out one of my earbuds but I honestly don't want to talk to her because of the previous incident, so I just shake my head "no" at her. Then I look away from her and back at the lake. She taps me a few more times, but I don't respond. She then reaches in my ear and takes my earbud out for me. She says in an annoyed voice that she's trying to talk to me. She then tries to ask me about another class we were both in

After realizing that she took my earbud out, she gave it back after I told her to. I then snap at her to never EVER stick her fingers in my ear like that. I then say, "that is rude and gross. I don't know where you've been. What the fuck is wrong with you?". I then tell her to never ever touch my property without my permission again. I didn't scream at her, but I wasn't quiet either, so students around us can hear me, some staring. She gets angry and defensive back and says that she was trying to talk to me, but I had my earbuds in. I said something like "I'll talk to you when I feel like it. Now get lost." She was stunned, and I had to repeat myself until she finally walked away. I then rub a little hand sanitizer on my earbud and a bit on my ear too

Some strangers nearby said that I was so rude and harsh and to chill out.

Did I overreact to this and completely make an ass out of myself, even after what she did in the classroom? I pretty much never lash out like this. I keep thinking about both and am still mortified. Should I apologize to her?
