FAR Exam Timeline Advice

Hello!

I found out early May that I failed FAR (first CPA exam) with a 68. I obviously feel pretty bad but have started studying since 5/9 for my retake. I took the original exam on 4/4/26 so I’m trying to catch back up on the material.

I have my retake scheduled just before the June 8th cutoff date. I’m studying probably 4 hours a day on top of work, coaching and life.

Would you recommend pushing it back to the late June 30th cutoff or take it as scheduled and if anything cram a second retake before the June 30th cutoff????

Please advise me lol, ChatGPT isn’t always helpful

Took my first ever CPA exam on 4/4/26 and found out yesterday I failed with a 68.

My SE scores were 66 & 68, so I scored on par.

I haven’t really looked at the material since the exam and already rescheduled my NTS to take the exam just before the June 8th cutoff date. As expected I’m pretty bummed and disappointed.

What would be the best way to attack the next 30 days?
Any tips, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
