Hi there. I’m a 33-year-old guy living in Calgary (though people often tell me I look younger, especially with a fresh haircut). I’m a hard introvert who values logic, personal space, and a drama-free life. I’ve built a stable, autonomous life here, and now I’m looking for my mental mirror—a true partner and friend.
I am a Christian, play in a church band, and attend church every Sunday. It’s an important part of my life. I’m looking for someone who is either Christian as well or, at the very least, completely supportive of this. That being said, my views on family and lifestyle are quite unconventional for a traditional church crowd, which is why I’m posting here.
My Absolute Dealbreakers (Non-negotiable):
- Strictly Childfree: I do not have children and absolutely do not want them. The world is too volatile, and my decision is final. If you want kids now or in the future, we are fundamentally incompatible.
- Financial & Relationship Philosophy: I believe a healthy relationship should enhance both people’s lives while still allowing each person to remain financially independent. I am happy to fully cover the household baseline (rent/mortgage, groceries, bills), so day-to-day life is stable and stress-free. At the same time, I prefer financial independence within the relationship. Each person maintains responsibility for their own personal expenses and lifestyle choices. If one of us wants specific personal items or upgrades, we take ownership of those decisions individually. For me, this structure isn’t about separation—it’s about clarity, fairness, and choosing each other based on genuine connection rather than financial dependence. Ultimately, I am looking for a long-term partner, and I believe this approach helps build a relationship based on intention, respect, and mutual choice.
- Condo/Apartment Person Only: I am strictly against buying a house. I value my time way too much to waste it on cutting grass, fixing roofs, or shoveling Calgary snow on weekends. I want a clean, modern, secure apartment where we can lock the door and just leave for the mountains or stay inside without outdoor chores.
- No Mind Games: I despise drama, manipulation, and the "chase me" culture. I value calm, direct, and honest communication. No comparisons to others.
About Me & What Life Together Looks Like:
- Gaming: I’m a big PC gamer (mostly survival simulators, base-building, and strategies). Minimum requirement: you don't mind it. Ideal scenario: you are a gamer too, and we can play co-op games together as best friends.
- Nature: I love spending time outdoors—rivers, forests, and quiet mountain trails away from crowds.
- Very Tactile: Despite being a hard introvert to the outside world, I am very affectionate and warm with my person. I love big hugs, physical closeness, and just cuddling on the couch while we are both playing games or watching something. I need someone who has that same high need for physical touch at home.
- Household Chores: I can cook and clean, especially when we are out in nature. At home, it’s logical that we fairly divide indoor chores based on who has more free time, taking turns to keep things balanced.
- Mutual Support: If you face hard times, illness, or temporary financial difficulties, I will do absolutely everything for you and stand by your side to support you. I expect the same level of loyalty, dedication, and mutual support in return, without blame or accusations.
Who I'm looking for: An introverted, independent, and secure woman who is hiding from the chaotic world just like I am. Someone who can comfortably sit in the same room, with each of us doing our own thing in total peace, but still feel completely connected.
I’m not into rushing things or self-sacrifice. Everything must be natural and mutual.
