Syntoms

Reading the latest research and theories that have been published about PAS I noticed how symptoms tend to be divided into two large groups:

- ED, no libido, anhedonia, other mental symptoms

- dry skin/lips, joint pain, problems healing wounds

In which of these two clusters do you find yourself?

Do any of you have symptoms of both the first and the second group?

New subreddit

Hi guys,

Since I am not able to receive the permissions to moderate this subreddit, I have decided to open another one in which we try together to understand the causes of this disease and its possible cures.

I invite you to unite and publicize it as much as possible in order to make it grow.
If you have some improvement to report, feel free to post and start a discussion👍

Dalla comunità DrWillPowers su Reddit: Post Accutane Syndrome(PAS) Experience and Markers

I’m making this post to talk to this community about the work that Dr. Powers is doing to help PAS patients.

Until now he has focused more on Finasteride and SSRI patients who are in some ways similar and has obtained great results.

The point is that despite having formulated some theories on PAS, he has not yet had enough patients available to study this syndrome.

That is why if you have the possibility you absolutely have to perform a genetic test, a Dutch test and a series of specific blood tests to allow him to deepen our condition.

I add here a wiki link in which he explains which exams can be useful to him:

Remember that the more we are, the sooner he will be able to analyze our condition and create a cure!

URGENT: Our moderator is inactive. Looking for someone to request this subreddit!

Hello everyone,

As many of you may have noticed, this subreddit has been largely unmoderated lately. The current moderator has disappeared, is not responding to messages, and is not accepting new members.

To save this community, we need someone to step up and request control of the subreddit via Reddit's official process.

We are looking for a volunteer who meets the following criteria:

· At least 100 Post Karma and 100 Comment Karma (this is a strict Reddit rule for requests).
· An account that is at least 90 days old.
· A verified email and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on their Reddit account.
· A clean account history (no recent bans or suspensions).

If you meet these requirements and are willing to help, please follow these exact steps to request the subreddit:

Step 1: Send a Modmail (Required)
Go to the main page of this subreddit and click "Message the mods" (or send a modmail directly to the current mod). State that you are interested in helping moderate the community because it is currently inactive.
Note: You must wait 5 days after sending this modmail before you can make the official request on Reddit Request.

Step 2: Go to r/redditrequest
After 5 days have passed, go to the subreddit r/redditrequest. Make sure you read their pinned rules and Wiki first to ensure you understand the process.

Step 3: Create the Request Post

· Title: The title of your post must be EXACTLY the name of this subreddit (e.g., r/NameOfThisSubreddit). Do not add any other text to the title.
· Flair: Select the correct "Request" flair (if you don't add a flair, the post will be automatically removed).
· Body: You can add a brief explanation that the current mod is inactive.

Step 4: Reply to the Bot
Shortly after you post, a bot named u/request_bot will comment asking for the permalink to the modmail you sent in Step 1. You must reply to this comment with the link to your modmail.

· How to get the link: Go to your Reddit Inbox > Messages/Chats, find the modmail you sent, click the "Share" or "Copy Link" button, and paste it in your reply.

Step 5: Wait for Admin Review
Reddit admins will review your request. If approved, you will become the new moderator. Once you have control, you can add other active members of this community as moderators to help you run it.

Please comment below if you meet the requirements and are willing to do this, so we can support your request. Thank you!

Marjuana, 5-htp, … causing PSSD

Have there ever been cases of PSSD with substances that act on serotonin but are not real SSRIs?

Dead community?

I’m making this post to understand how many active members are still present within this subreddit.

I noticed that until about a year ago there were hundreds of posts a month and lots of stories of people who had followed a protocol and then recovered.

How many of you are struggling with this pathology and/or are you fighting it with some protocol?

I think that if we want to heal successfully the only way is to continue to discuss our experiences and new research in progress.

This is also why I am thinking of creating an additional whatsapp/telegram group that allows us to stay updated in real time on the evolution of the protocol we are following.

If you want to participate, please contact me! 👍

Finasteride or accutane?

I make this post because I came into contact with both of these substances and I would like to understand which of the two caused the damage that I still have.

I don’t rule out that both contributed.

Consequently I ask you: is there any of you who used both but it’s 100% sure to had damage from only one of the two?

Saw Palmetto

Good morning, I have a lot of the syntoms described in this 3d and for a long time I thought accutane caused theme.
Actually I realised I assumed in the past a supplement for prostate health
(700 mg of saw palmetto oil/day) for a couple of weeks

I had finished taking accutane about three years earlier, with some damage, although from memory they seemed less heavy than now (after 9 years in total)

Since apparently people who suffer from PAS damage have the same genetic predisposition to suffer from PFS, do you think I should consider that intake as a possible cause of harm and try to treat myself even as if I had PFS?

Or is the dose still too low to create problems?

HGH change in dosage

A few days ago I started therapy with HGH starting with 2UI, I noticed benefits such as the improvement of chronic joint pain in the hands and legs, the quality of sleep, short term memory, and brain activity.

Unfortunately, however, these improvements are evident for about 6-8 hours from the injection and then gradually reduce until I inject another 2IU the day after.

What do you think? Should I try to switch to 3/4UI/ day ?

At the same time I am taking 1500mg of lithium carbonate (certified) and I have a blood concentration of 0.55-0.6.

Thanks to those who can help me.
