[Request] Camping cooler ice?
Hey Reddit. Just grabbed a beverage from the cooler on our multi day camp trip on the Oregon Coast. At what point does it make sense for me to drain off melted ice water? Is it more efficient to leave cold water in there or does y that dissipate the remaining ice more quickly?
Let’s assume the cooler (Yeti 45) has nothing but ice in it and the outside thermal inputs remain constant. Is there a point at which removing excess runoff preserves the remaining ice longer?
