fashion shows rant
bro. idk man these wealth hoarders have ruined sm about this game and the worst part is seeing them in fashion shows.
i feel like fashion shows are one of the only ways to have fun in this game that hasn’t been tainted by advertisements or ppl trying to get 13 solids for their bow and arrow. so the fact that people who are wealthier in the game and have more access to items constantly win these just make them feel like a waste of time to me. especially bc they often take multiple hours.
i also wanna talk about etiquette. i was in a show where there was a player being visibly rude to another after they didn’t get any compliments (for example, the person got several compliments on their look, and this person said: aren’t u just wearing two items?). not to mention ppl who pout when they get out and throw a fit, or ppl who constantly talk over the host.
guys this is such a dumb rant ik and everyone should be able to play in fashion shows despite the wealth gaps in this game but it’s really frustrating when “aesthetically pleasing”(aka RICH because the nice looking items are WORTH MORE) gets rewarded over creativity. idk maybe i should quit fashion shows. maybe it’s just me.

p.s. i dont want to spread any hate of any kind. i’ve hosted before myself and ppl whohost these shows and give out prizes of any kind are awesome. however, i just dont know how to make it fair without everyone having access to equal playing grounds. underwater shows ftw?
