Me (F/23) and him (M/27): Was I wrong for ending things early because he was moving too fast?
Problem/Goal:
I’m wondering if I handled the situation correctly or if mali ba ako for ending things early. I liked him physically and I thought he was nice, pero hindi ako comfortable and I felt like we weren’t compatible or moving at the same pace.
Context:
Almost a week pa lang kaming nag-uusap, pero he was already very clingy, using endearments, and asking if I was talking to other guys. He seemed to think na compatible kami, pero for me, parang ang bilis ng pace. Hindi naman kami dating or exclusive, so I felt uncomfortable with the expectations he was giving me.
Previous Attempts:
Naging distant ako and replied coldly kasi hindi ko alam how to address the situation. After several hours na hindi kami nag-usap, I messaged him and explained na I think he’s a nice person, pero baka magkaiba kami ng approach when it comes to getting to know someone. I didn’t want to lead him on. He only reacted with a heart, then removed our nicknames, unfollowed me, and unfriended me. Now I’m wondering if I owed him an explanation, if too harsh ba yung message ko, or if he simply respected what I said and decided to move on.
