Definitely a forever drug for me

I was scheduled for an abdominoplasty May 19th, and was to be off Mounjaro for 3 weeks pre-op. Well Friday I was called and my surgery was pushed to June 2nd, so I will end up being 5 weeks without the shot. Thankfully I am actually down 2 lbs, but oh man having all the other things come back make me realize how much this drug has truly changed my life. Inflamed joints and food noise are the big ones, but I'm also finding myself craving alcohol (I've had 2 or 3 drinks in the last 18 months), unable to focus, waking up in the middle of the night absolutely starving, and my menstrual cycle this week was so painful which is hasn't been in probably a year. I am so grateful for this medication, and it certainly comes at a financial cost but it is so well worth it!!

To anyone just starting out, stick with it! The benefits are absolutely life changing.
