2021 Ford Ranger rattles when going uphill

Hey, so I bought a '21 ranger XL supercab back in October and it's got a neat little issue that I'm curious about.

I've noticed that whenever I'm going up a hill at ~30-40 kmh (18-25 mph) my truck will sort of "lock" itself at ~1350 rpm and the entire thing will start to rattle. It takes a lot of pushing on the accelerator to make it break past the barrier and resume a normal level of smoothness.

This was originally a work truck belonging to a local landscaping company and it's got some signs of abuse which doesn't surprise me and was known about prior to purchase, but I'm just wondering if this is something worth seeing a mechanic over or if it might be bad for the truck somehow.

My entirely uneducated guess is that it has something to do with one of the gears, or the trans but I don't know jack from shit lmao.
