Out the Door interactions
Haven’t seen this discussed yet, but Out the Door combined with Try and Try Again is insane. Based on how Try and Try Again interacts with Take Heart, it should similarly return Out the Door to your hand before you lose resources from the failed test. You can commit it together with Take Heart, and even return Take Heart as well if you also have a Grisly Totem.
On the Brink is also worth mentioning. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe all of these effects resolve during step 7. According to the rules, all effects are determined and resolved one at a time, and you choose the order. So you resolve Take Heart first (without discarding it yet, since that happens in step 8), then resolve On the Brink to return all the other skills. And since Out the Door is no longer in play, you don’t lose the resources.
And you could obviously add Drawing Thin to make this even more ridiculous.
This is really only available to Wendy, and to a lesser extent Ashcan and Preston.
