Need advice, phone got submerged in water

My phone accidentally fell out of my pocket and in to the toilet bowl without me noticing. My friend was the one who found it, she says it was probably 5-15 mins in there but isn't sure since we were a bit intoxicated that time.. It had the water in charging port notification so, I turned it off then dried it as much as possible, taking out the S Pen which was wet except for the sim tray which was completely dry. (Our water has a bit of chlorine)

Went to work with my phone off, then i noticed there was moisture on the 3rd camera (it was pretty cold in our office). I let it stay upright and put a mini fan beneath it but on low setting. After 2 days the moisture disappeared but the inner part of the lens still seems to have it. I tried turning on the phone, everything is working fine except that it heats up near the camera part.

It's been almost 7 days since I kept it off but i tried turning it on every 3 days, still it heats up.

Went to an authorized service center today, IT said they could try opening it to see if there's any corrosion but even if they were able to dry the parts out, there's a possibility that the phone might not turn on again as this was the case with other phones that got submerged.

He advised me to back up my stuff but how would I be able to do that if the phone heats up? ( i back up manually direct to laptop, i don't use the cloud)

I'm at loss right now.. i have important notes and thousands of pictures on my phone which I've never backed up. Memories worth 3 years *sigh*

I want to try to back it up but i'm too scared that it would overheat and cause a short circuit

Has anyone been in the same situation? What did you do and is your phone still working now? Also, is it better to just let them open my phone and take the risk? I did tell the IT i'd be back after 2 days but I'd like to know about other possible solutions first
