I think there's literally more Christmas stuff out then Halloween.

Monster Hunter: Nergigante is seen as problem and destabilizing force in the new world, trying to attack the massive Zorah Magdoros, until it's revealed he eats elder dragons and would actually attack and eat invasive monsters like the newborn xenojiva.

DBZ: Fat Buu: Is seen as a world ending threat until it's revealed he can be reasoned with and supplicated through kindess, which causes Buu to shed and lose control of his destructive self, and is later revealed to have been the result of buu absorbing a kind hearted Kami, the result becoming a childlike persona that was far more controllable then Buu's true form as Kid Buu. Fat Buu later becomes the progenitor of his own race.

King Dedede [Kirby's Adventure.] King Dedede blocks the star rod and the fountain of dreams from working, and is even seen bathing in it, only for it to be revealed he actually did so in order to keep Nightmare from escaping into the world.
