Salesforce integration
A client intends to set up an online shop connected to Salesforce, where they manage the company's products as well as the customers. They are currently reinventing the wheel, attempting to build out a store frontend from scratch.
Looking at their pace, I imagine it will take 3-4 years to reach maturity. There's a lot of opinionated decisions that have to get signed off by several stakeholders. It's a slow process.
I am experienced with WP, but don't have much experience with Salesforce.
API integration with existing shop functionality, WooCommerce or something else, would be a much better solution IMO.
Has anybody here hooked up Salesforce to WP? I'd love to get insights before making any suggestions.
Note: I don't want to suggest an intermediary layer such as Zapier
