Should I upgrade my monitor?

I currently have HP Compaq LA2405x. It seems to fill all my current needs as from just under 550 games I have on Steam only around 50 are what I would call more graphically intensive (and more than a half of them is in backlog hell). I mainly play old-school RPGs, sims and strategies (though this does include newer Paradox games), with the only exception being MMOs (GW/GW2, Warframe and ESO).

I was considering Gigabyte M27Q3, but I've seen that it has truly horrible viewing angles. Which may itself be a problem as my desk is a horribly profiled corner wooden desk.

So is there any need for me to upgrade? I mean the whole 60vs144vs... argument doesnt really make much sense to me outside of FPS.

Pre 2010s Anime (?) or animated series

Unsure if it was anime or an unique animated series. It happened in triangular building. Main cast was trapped in there and fighting /sabotaging some eldritch or maybe technological evil. There was a theme of mind control and/or corruption.

I think it was part/French or sponsored by some French organization. Been searching for years for even an image of it but can't find it.
