Roleplaying tips for a drow renegade
Heyo folks, first time posting here (that I can remember).
For my second playthrough, I'm planning on running a Pact of the Great Old One warlock who's a renegade from Menzoberranzan. Being a man born and raised in Lolth-sworn society, he sought freedom through learning forbidden magic, until one day he came across a cursed book. A book containing a fragment of Dendar the Night Serpent, who sought to feed on the horrors and the nightmares contained in the mind of the "lowest of the low." The dregs of society, abused for all his life.
As he read the book he heard whispers that grew louder and louder, and by the end all he could hear was Dendar laughing as she ate her fill. With his mind warped by the fragment of the Night Serpent that now lived inside it, he hijacked the will of his handlers and forced them to flay themselves alive, then made his way for the surface where he was nabbed by the Nautiloid.
I think I've come up with a decent character idea, but not 100% on how to roleplay him. Minthara's obviously gonna be kill on sight, but I can't say much else for sure. Any help this lovely community can offer on that would be much appreciated!
